everything! especially the very friendly staff, the clean and modern rooms, the excellent breakfast and the top location!
Excellent individually designed rooms. Very good shower unit in the bathroom and everything you need in the room - tv, safe, minibar, even the beds tilted upwards at the head so you can read or watch tv in comfort. Very helpful and friendly owner/manager. Pizza restaurant downstairs which is quite reasonably priced for St. Moritz.
Quite a walk up from the railway station although you can take the bus to Schulhausplatz and then it's just a bit of a climb higher.
Liked the washroom, the bed comfort and bedding, the staff was excellent and breakfast was great.
The room decor, the Japenese style would suit a younger generation. Sitting on the floor, at a mature age is not for everyone.
Nice room, comfortable. The hotel is in the city center, not so far from the Rail Station (15 minutes walking)
WiFi out of order. The launderette basket in the elevator all day long Nobody in the reception at our arrival Perhaps this was because the winter season was just finished
Located very convenient in the heart of St. Moritz Friendly staff Value for money (for St. Moritz standard)
Parking expensive Small rooms Very difficult to load and unload the car, as there is not much space to stop the ca
Extremely nice rooms. We loved the Restaurant in the evening.
The facility in the hotel is not very good. It is rather a place where you rent the room, but you don't really feel in a Hotel.
The hotel manager and all the staff we met were lovely. Very accommodating, professional and made us feel extremely welcome and taken care of. We were were there on Valentines day and there were gifts and a Valentines card waiting for us!
Extremely friendly staff, food in their Pizzeria is awesome.
The girls at reception where soo helpful always smiling they were the main reason why we decided to stay another night!
The room was a bit too hot
Room is small (a lot of wooden furniture!!) but new and cozy. Hotel is very small (even no reception or entrance hall) and works as a pizzeria in the evening (but no noise because of it in the room!). Location is superb - right in the city center.
Hotel is good for a couple of nights or for summer holidays but not sure whether this hotel is convenient and cozy for skiers/ snowboarders..
Superb hotel! The lady who works at the Recep is very friendly, knowledgable, warm and we felt very welcome to the hotel! The pizza restaurant is fantastic!!! Had our dinner there and it was superbly delicious! Do make reservations if you're planning to eat there as it can be very full! Location was fantastic too! Just minutes walk to the train station. Room is very clean with lots of storage space. Toilet is clean!
We didn't make reservations for dinner on ur 2nd night there and the restaurant was full!! Decided to take out but we stood there and not being acknowledge by the staff till later. But it's our mistake as we didn't reserve table.
The staff were great friendly and helpful
Helpful and pleasent staff
No sitting/ lobby area. Room keys difficult to operate
Close to city center and had a restaurant on site.
The outstanding feature of Hotel Arte is the friendly, vivacious and helpful personality of the manager/waitress Lubica. We were welcomed on arrival and she helped us to organise activities for the following day in St Moritz complete with maps and other suggestions. Our room was excellent, breakfast very suitable for our day of walking at Muottas Muragi which was a great walking experience. Previous reviewers have accurately described the best ways to get to and from the train station. We appreciated the kindness of our hostess when she drove us to the station on our departure. We had an excellent meal at La Stalla on the first night recommended by Lubica and the second night we ate at the hotel Pizzeria which was superb. We also enjoyed Pavarotti's Wine Bar which was one of only a few wine bars or restaurants open in St Moritz at this time of the year. We would probably not return to St Moritz except as a stop over for the amazing train rides mentioned above and would definitely stay at Zermatt for the "snow" experience. However Hotel Arte and it's amazing hostess made our stay in St Moritz memorable.
